Kalimera from the Island of the Winds!

Mykonos may be famous for its beaches and nightlife, but it's also a great starting point for island hopping! With late flights and ferries connecting the Cyclades, you can spend the night and catch a ferry the next day, with a little time to explore in between!

I stayed near the Old Port, within walking distance of Little Venice and Chora's famous winding streets. So naturally, I wandered. Then wandered some more! Between the crowds and endless little lanes, I was relieved to find my way back to the waterfront.

The next morning, I wandered those same streets while the islanders opened their shops and prepared for the day. I loved the beautiful colors, browsing the little boutiques, and discovering a peaceful side of Mykonos I hadn't experienced the night before.
