Kimolos, Greece
Yasou from Kimolos!
From the moment I stepped off the ferry at Psathi, Kimolos reminded me of those Greek island movies where everyone seems to know everyone! The harbor was full of yacht crews, visitors, and locals catching up with familiar faces. I loved the energy and the feeling of being somewhere with such a strong sense of community.
Exploring Chorio, the island's historic village, was another adventure! I somehow managed to get my rental car stuck more than once in those narrow streets around the medieval castle. Thankfully, the locals were incredibly patient, backing up their cars to help me get through. What a way to introduce myself! What I loved most about Kimolos was that its sense of community wasn't something created for visitors. It belongs to the people who live there, and I felt fortunate to be welcomed into their world, even if only for a little while.
Sending love from somewhere worth getting lost,
Kimolos, Greece
